{"id":11990,"date":"2019-04-05T13:00:58","date_gmt":"2019-04-05T04:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginza.jp\/?p=11990"},"modified":"2023-05-01T14:00:55","modified_gmt":"2023-05-01T05:00:55","slug":"%e7%ac%ac%e5%8d%81%e4%b8%89%e5%9b%9e-%e9%8a%80%e5%ba%a7%e6%9f%b3%e3%81%be%e3%81%a4%e3%82%8a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginza.jp\/en\/event\/11990","title":{"rendered":"The 13th Ginza Willow Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"top2016yanagi\">\n<section>\n<p class=\"headline\"> The Ginza Willow Festival has been held on May 5th (Children\u2019s Day) every year since 2006 to commemorate the planting of an orderly display of willow trees on Nishi Ginza-dori when it was designated as a symbolic road of Tokyo. <\/p>\n<p>We are holding the 13th Ginza Willow Festival this year as well, thanks to the outstanding support and cooperation of the Tsukiji Police Station, Chuo City, Tokyo and other government ministries and agencies, Tokyo Band Association, Ginza Association, Ginmikai (Ginza Merchant\u2019s Association), Nishiginza-dori Association, all the performers, and other individuals who are involved in running the festival. <\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Ginza Willow Festival is being held at the dawn of a new era as the new Emperor ascends to the imperial throne.
