Program<\/strong><\/p>\n Since its release in June 2025, \u2018KOKUHO\u2019 has broken the domestic box-office record for a Japanese live-action film for the first time in 22 years, bringing in 17.87 billion yen in box-office revenue and a total audience of 12.31 million. Shuichi Yoshida, author of the original novel, has described the film as a “once-in-a-century epic of artistic devotion,” and the film has been selected as Japan’s official submission for the Best International Feature at the 98th Academy Awards in the U.S. Exhibition of Photos Showing the Iconic Scenes That Brought the World of \u2018KOKUHO\u2019 to Life<\/strong><\/p>\n On B2, the exhibition presents photographs capturing some of the film’s most iconic scenes. This includes the powerful moments depicting the struggle over the succession of the Tanbaya house between\u2060 \u2060Kikuo Tachibana (Toichiro Hanai), portrayed by Ryo Yoshizawa, and Shunsuke Ogaki (Hanya Hanai), portrayed by Ryusei Yokohama. Through these photos, visitors are invited to reflect on the kokuho (National Treasure)-worthy performances that brought the world of \u2018KOKUHO\u2019 to life.
