Xmas Art Festa 2015<\/h3>\n

The Xmas Art Festa is an art event that has been held by Ginza galleries since 2009.

\nAlthough Japan does not have a major custom of hanging up art in rooms, it is fun picking out the art you like, similar to choosing clothes or handbags.

\nThis event is intended to propose a lifestyle with art that enriches your daily life and inspires new discoveries.\n<\/p>\n

Gallerist-led Tours<\/h5>\n

Tours will be led by gallerists from galleries participating in the Xmas Art Festa.

\nMeet up at a gallerist\u2019s gallery, listen to a talk about the exhibit and gallery, then set off to the next gallery to see a variety of exhibits!

\nIf you would like to visit art galleries, but are a little intimidated, this may be a great opportunity for you!
\n*The galleries visited in each course are chosen by the gallerist. <\/span><\/p>\n

A Course: Monday, December 14, from 2 PM,

\nB Course: Tuesday, December 15, from 2 PM,

If you are not available to participate in a Gallerist-led Tour, if you only want to see your favorite style of pieces, or if you want to find galleries that suit your personal preferences,
take part in a gallery tour held at a time and date of your choosing during the event period.
Tour reservations can be made for groups or individuals.<\/p>\n

Special Party<\/h5>\n

A special party will be held on the second day of the Xmas Art Festa. The venue will be a hotel lounge that boasts a 30 m atrium.
\nFor entertainment, there will be a Gallery Fake quiz and a bingo tournament. Please enjoy the audience participation quiz hosted by Art Teller Tony and unique gallerists and bingo games where you can win luxurious prizes. Delicious alcoholic beverages and light snacks will also be provided. <\/p>\n

\nThis art teller objectively explains the appeal of art pieces in lighthearted talk that inspires a greater interest in art. He has a regular column titled \u201cChiku-chiku Bijutsubu\u201d in the Geijutsu Shincho journal.

During the latter half of the Xmas Art Festa, artwork from participating galleries will be displayed and sold in Ginza Mitsukoshi. The best works selected from art pieces at 20 galleries will decorate the venue.
