Kobikicho Yoshiya is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Yoshiya Dorayaki, which has long been a popular gift choice among Kabuki actors, entertainers, and businesspersons, is a half-moon shaped treat with sweet bean paste wrapped in a single piece of pancake-like sponge cake. In addition to the soft texture of the cake that is baked early in the morning, high-quality adzuki beans from Tokachi, Hokkaido are used to make the bean paste, which has a mild sweetness.
