AUTUMN GINZA 2025

The annual Autumn Ginza 2025 will be held from Friday, October 17 to Monday, November 3 (national holiday), 2025.
This year’s theme is Sou, meaning “performance”, an invitation to gather and enjoy the performances to be seen in Ginza in this autumn season.
During this 18-day period, a wide range of events will liven up autumn in Ginza, including Ginchakai, where visitors can experience tea ceremony along Ginza-dori Street, the Autumn Traffic Safety Golden Parade, which has a history of nearly 60 years, and Visiting Ginza Hatcho Shrines, where visitors can enjoy a relaxing stroll around Ginza.
By gathering together and taking in the atmosphere of Ginza in autumn, we can create new moments of joy.

Ginchakai 2025

Ginchakai, a familiar autumn tradition in Ginza, is now in its 23rd year. This year’s theme is Sou, meaning “performance”, in the hopes that you will take part in the tea ceremony experience with those around you and create a moment of enjoyment for everyone.
Enjoy a relaxing moment with a bowl of tea and original sweets that celebrate the autumn in Ginza.

Autumn Ginza Traffic Safety Golden Parade

[Date & Time] Sunday, October 19, 10:30 to 12:00 (canceled in the event of inclement weather)

Ginza’s Golden Parade boasts a history of nearly 60 years.
This year, it will once again be held on Ginza-dori Street. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Safety Parade, which is held to raise awareness of traffic safety in Ginza, an area that prides itself on its safety, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Band Association’s Golden Parade, which features amazing performances by brass bands and baton twirlers, will combine to make Ginza even more exciting this autumn.
Please note that Ginza-dori Street will be a vehicle-free promenade starting at noon.

Visiting Ginza Hatcho Shrines 2025

[Event Period & Shrine Tour Times] Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 11:00 to 16:00

“Walk through Ginza and you’ll discover your dreams.”
The small shrines and Jizo statues found throughout Ginza breathe life into the area. Deep within this vibrant district lies a quiet history.
During the event period, visitors to each shrine will receive a complimentary gift, limited to one per person.

This autumn event is organized by Ginza Galleries, an organization made up of art galleries in the Ginza area.
Sixteen galleries from Ginza 1- to 8-chome participate in this event that is aimed at turning galleries into a platform for communication. Gallery tours and a beginner-friendly lecture will also be available to make art easily accessible to everyone. Please come and enjoy the individuality of Ginza’s galleries and the depth of the art they display.

“Autumn Ginza Night” is an event that brings people to the best bars in Ginza. Top-notch bartenders at famous, world-class Ginza bars will serve you with the best cocktails and hospitality. Please come and take this great opportunity to enjoy some wonderful cocktails.
During the event period, 17 participating bars will be offering a Gin & Tonic for ¥1,650 (tax included, one drink per person per location*).
